Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of CalCatch (“the add-on”), a Gmail add-on developed by wisteria3221 (“the developer”). By installing or using the add-on, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
CalCatch extracts events written in the email you open using the Google Gemini API, checks your calendars for possible duplicates, and adds the events you select to Google Calendar. The add-on is provided free of charge.
2. Your Gemini API key and costs
You must provide your own Gemini API key. Your use of the Gemini API is subject to the terms that apply to your key, and any charges for that usage are billed to the Google Cloud project that owns your key. You are responsible for managing your key, its usage limits and its costs.
3. Accuracy of results
Events are extracted by an AI model and may be incomplete or incorrect (for example, wrong dates, times or places). Duplicate detection is also approximate. Always review the events before adding them. The developer is not responsible for missed, incorrect or duplicated events.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the add-on in violation of applicable laws, Google’s terms of service, or the rights of others.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The add-on is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The add-on may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, schedules or profits, arising from the use of or inability to use the add-on.
7. Privacy
How the add-on handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Open source
The source code is available under the MIT License at github.com/wisteria3221/calcatch.
9. Changes to these Terms
The developer may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the add-on after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
